Rob Rausch praises Eric Nam’s pitch on Traitors

On the latest episode of Peacock’s reality competition The Traitors (Season 4, Episode 4), Love Island USA alum Rob Rausch was quick to applaud fellow contestant Eric Nam for using his musical instincts during a tense Roundtable moment — but questions still linger over whether Nam’s theory was actually correct.

The scene unfolded as competitors debated whom to banish from the Scottish castle.

After a heated back-and-forth that saw Big Brother’s Tiffany Mitchell square off with other players, Nam, a singer-songwriter, weighed in with an unusual piece of evidence: he claimed he recognized a laugh he heard while blindfolded during a previous night’s murder attempt, suggesting it belonged to Tiffany.

Nam said his trained “ear for pitch” made him convinced the sound was hers — a claim that surprised and intrigued the group.

Rausch reacted visibly to Nam’s reveal, mouthing “WOW” at the Roundtable and later explaining that he believed Nam’s musical background gave weight to his observation.

“The man knows pitch,” Rausch shared as he cast his vote.

Ultimately, the majority voted to banish Tiffany — a decision influenced in part by Nam’s argument.

But here’s the twist: after leaving the castle, Tiffany insisted she was actually a Faithful, not a Traitor, raising questions about whether Nam’s auditory deduction was accurate.

As the season continues, fans are debating whether Nam’s keen sense of pitch truly helped unmask a Traitor — or if it simply led the faithful astray. With alliances shifting and strategies evolving, The Traitors keeps viewers guessing.
